Best time to surf in Siargao
September to November: the prime season, with increasingly powerful Pacific swell and the year's most consistent surf, particularly at Cloud 9.
December to March: the biggest waves of the year, but more variable conditions under the northeast monsoon. Best for experienced surfers.
April to August: smaller, mellower waves and generally more approachable conditions for beginners and longboarders.
The water stays between 27°C and 29°C all year: boardshorts and a rash vest are enough.
